Please note - although this particular dragon has been sold, I am still taking commissions! Please message me either here (the green chat icon) or on Instagram for more details :D
How this was made:This beautiful dragon was handsculpted with polymerclay, lovingly painted with acrylics and decorated with crushed pyrite (fool's gold) before being glazed once with polyurethane varnish and again with epoxy resin, to ensure maximum strength and durability of its spines and limbs.
Personality:This particular dragon 'Magnus' holds a red and purple aura quartz point in his hands as he is very fond of crystals, as well as fire of course! He is very daring and likes to collect unusual objects and crystals from the inside of dormant volcanoes. Whilst he lives primarily in the fire region, he also visits the spirit region very often, to help human travellers through the spirit portal as they find themselves in the Adornarium for the first time. So whilst his heart burns with courage and boldness, he is also exceedingly friendly to human visitors and likes to help others. He would make a great companion for anyone who wants to embrace the wonderful creative element of fire, and who would like a friend for life who shares their enthusiasm for crystals!
Extra information:From the 'extra additions' drop-down menu, please select whether you would like this dragon to come gift wrapped, with a personalised story, with both, or with neither, before adding it to your cart. :)PLEASE NOTE - this dragon has been reduced by £10 because the end part of his top left horn broke off while I was moving house (and unfortunately hasn't been found since). However, it makes very little difference to his stunning overall appearance. :)
Magnus - the kind fire dragon
Any finished sculpture or item of jewellery of mine that you receive, should be relatively strong, but not indestructible. As such, adequate care should be taken to ensure that the piece is out of reach of pets, children, and the possibility of being dropped, as you would with any other fragile ornament in the home. That being said, it will be certainly be strong enough for moderate handling as you examine it and admire its unique features! :)
